Engineering Design Symposium | 2023

Mulli Swing Solutions first emerged at the 2023 Engineering Design Symposium at the University of New Brunswick, where the founding team placed second in their division with a prototype that would become the company’s core product. Presented through the TME4025 capstone course, the early sensor embedded golf grip and data driven swing analysis concept stood out for its blend of engineering, sports performance, and entrepreneurship. The symposium marked the moment an academic project transformed into a venture with commercial ambition.

This recognition validated the problem, sparked early industry curiosity, and encouraged the team to pursue a scalable path in golf technology. It also established Mulli’s focus on measurable swing improvement, user centered design, and hardware software integration long before entering the startup ecosystem.

What began as a student engineering prototype is now evolving into accessible, performance focused golf tech built for real golfers and coaches.
